Azerbaijan on July 3 registered no coronavirus-related death amid the improvement of COVID-19 situation in the country, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers reported today.
Ninety-five people contracted COVID-19 today, while the number of recovered patients was 42.
The number of COVID-19 patients in the country has so far reached 336,318 and 330,380 of them have recovered. Azerbaijan also administered COVID-19 vaccination on 69,718 people today.
Azerbaijan, the nation of ten million, has vaccinated 3,740,447 people since January 18.
Azerbaijan started vaccinating citizens using China’s Sinovac on January 18, Vaxzevria vaccine produced by AstraZeneca on May 3, Russia’s Sputnik V on May 18 and US-produced Pfizer on June 7. The country started offering COVID-19 vaccination to citizens aged over 18 from May 10.
