Azerbaijan’s Aero Dance team won the gold medal in the 16th FIG Aerobic Gymnastics World Championships in Baku on May 29.
The national team secured 18.400 points, leaving behind the teams from Russia (18.000) and Hungary (17.800). The Azerbaijani team comprised of Nurjan Jabbarli, Madina Mustafayeva, Imran Imranov, Elchin Mammadov, Narmina Huseynova and Aykhan Ahmadli.
The 16th FIG Aerobic Gymnastics World Championships was held at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku, Azerbaijan between May 27 and 29.
The championship brought together 166 athletes from 22 countries
