Baku Olympic Stadium will host the 4th match within Euro 2020

Azerbaijan’s capital Baku on Saturday will host the EURO 2020 quarterfinal match between Denmark and the Czech Republic.

The match will be held at the Baku Olympic Stadium at 8 pm (GMT+4).

This will be the fourth and last Group A match held in Baku within EURO 2020.

The first match of the group was held on June 12 between Wales and Switzerland, the second game on June 16 between Turkey and Wales and the third game was held on June 20 between Switzerland and Turkey.

Baku is among 11 European cities to host Euro 2020 that was postponed last year due to COVID-19.

Baku Olympic Stadium has 68,700-capacity. It should be noted that the stadium has been awarded on behalf of UEFA Deputy Secretary General Giorgio Marchetti due to the fact that despite the short time intervals between three matches within the European Championship and hot weather, the stadium’s turf was in perfect condition.
