Queen Elizabeth II and the members of the British royal family watched the spectacular show “Khari Bulbul” presented by the cavalry of the Azerbaijani State Border.
Famous Karabakh horses were used during the Royal Windsor Horse Show that took place in London from July 1 to July 4.
The show by Azerbaijan was dedicated to the country’s victory over Armenia in the war in autumn 2020.
Karabakh horses are famous in the world as well as in the UK. Back in 1956, Queen Elizabeth II was presented with the Karabakh horse Zaman.
Azerbaijan’s landscapes were also demonstrated on large screens as part of the event and the show participants carried UK and Azerbaijani flags in their hands.
The highlight of the show was Chovqan, a traditional horse-riding game that is included in UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
