Azerbaijan on June 29 registered three coronavirus-related death, brining the overall fatalities to 4,973, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
The number of new infection cases was 87 today, while the recoveries reached 70.
Over 335,961 Azerbaijani residents have been infected with COVID-19 so far, with the number of recoveries reaching 330,193, the coronavirus task forces has said.
Azerbaijan, the nation of ten million, has vaccinated over three million of its population since January 18.
In the meantime, the survey carried out by Baku-based Media Analysis Center (MAC) has revealed that 33 percent of Azerbaijanis have received COVID-19 passports, local media reported on June 29.
COVID-19 passports have been issued in the country since June 10 and are required for the entry to places such as gyms, mosques, weddings and other mass gatherings (with the participation of 50 to 150 people).
