The Azerbaijan Air Force aviation is participating in “Anatolian Eagle – 2021” drills being held in Turkey’s Konya city, the Defence Ministry’s press service reported.
At the first stage of the drills, the flight crew of the Azerbaijan Air Force aviation, having entered the air space of the imaginary enemy, successfully fulfilled tasks on destruction of its ground targets.
The International Flight-Tactical Exercises drills that kicked off on June 22, will last until July 3.
Another joint drills with Turkey started in Nakhchivan on June 21 between the Nakhchivan garrison troops and the Turkish armed forces.
The joint drills are held in line with the military cooperation agreement signed between Azerbaijan and Turkey and will last till June 23.
